PermitPathLA compiles Los Angeles permitting data from primary sources to power its own tools. These are the compiled tables, published in full with their methods, sources, and caveats. Every dataset is free to download as CSV or JSON and free to reuse with attribution under CC BY 4.0.

How often is this data updated?
The by-city table follows the California Department of Housing and Community Development Annual Progress Report cycle, so it gains a year each spring as jurisdictions file. The neighborhood table is rebuilt from the LADBS permit feed. Each page shows the exact date its source data was retrieved and flags which years are still incomplete.
