About Butterfly Dwellings, Inc.

Butterfly Dwellings, Inc.

Butterfly is a Southern California–based designer-builder specializing in custom accessory dwelling units (ADUs) and small‑format housing. We streamline construction timelines with a library of pre‑designed plans that are then customized to each specific property and the owner’s use case. Our team manages the full process—from architecture and engineering through permitting and construction—ensuring property owners predictable execution, high‑quality results, and a simplified process.

Our Los Angeles ADU Standard Plans include five of our most popular models that balance practicality with character. Each plan includes a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, and ample storage.

The Bungalow 750 is a 1-story, 741 sq. ft., two-bed, two-bath ADU that includes a full kitchen, laundry, and variety of floor plan configurations. Both bedrooms include optional sliding doors to allow access to outdoor space if available on the lot.
